Specification on merit
Kukan LLC gives plant owners, integrators and food producers manufacturer-agnostic expertise in membrane separation — so that every stage of a line, from raw-water intake to the last polishing step, is specified on merit, sourced competitively and commissioned to perform.
We do not manufacture equipment and we do not act as a turn-key contractor. We advise on technology selection and process design, audit the viability of proposed and existing installations, screen and qualify suppliers, consolidate multi-vendor procurement into managed shipments, develop process automation and monitoring software, and support installation and commissioning.
The company is built on hands-on experience in the membrane industry and long-standing working relationships with clients, contractors and suppliers across Europe, with an international supplier and specialist network beyond it.

Partner laboratories specialized in water and membrane analysis perform element testing, foulant characterization and membrane autopsies — so diagnostic conclusions rest on measurement, not opinion.

Design files, projections, functional design specifications and commissioning records follow consistent standards — every engagement is transferable and auditable, and nothing depends on a single person's memory.

Independence
No distribution mandates, no commissions hidden in equipment prices. Where a manufacturer's own service organization is the better answer for a task, we say so.
Written scope
Scope, deliverables, confidentiality and limits of liability are defined in a written engagement agreement before work starts. Final design authority remains with licensed engineers of record where the law requires it.
Confidentiality
Your analyses, proposals, operating data and commercial terms are used only to work on your case. We are routinely on both sides of supplier negotiations and treat information barriers accordingly.
Honest engineering
Projections are stated with their assumptions, risks are named before contracts are signed, and audit conclusions are reported as measured — whether or not they create follow-up work for us.
